Using RPA to automate expense auditing would be more expensive and less effective than using software that’s specifically designed for such a task.

Complexity: Complexity could refer to the different and variety of systems involved in completing a workflow process. The more systems, people, checkpoints involved, the more complex its automation is going to be.

High ROI Potential: Different processes will have different ROI for your business. It is always best to automate processes that can provide significant cost savings, usually 2-3 FTEs work effort.

Lastly, even if a process is not a good candidate for automation as a whole, it may be broken down into automatable subprocesses that can yield significant benefits when automated.
